Maserati Quatrroporte Sport GT S

By Dave | February 17, 2009

Maserati have launched their new Quattroporte Sport GT S, and I’ve managed to get hold of a video that they have released - actually it’s not the best video in the world but it gives you an idea of what it’s like!

(Either JavaScript is not active or you are using an old version of Adobe Flash Player. Please install the newest Flash Player.)

The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S boasts:

V8 4.7 litre engine, with power increased to 323kW
New gearshift management software, with new features designed to increase driving enjoyment
Front and rear suspension system featuring single-rate dampers, stiffer springs and lower ride height
Sports exhaust controlled by pneumatic valves for a deep, throaty and captivating sound

Maserati have made the Quattroporte look more sporting and aggressive with a new black engine grille and new headlights which are have a metallic titanium finish and a black twin oval exhaust system at the rear. The side and rear shadow line is finished in black around the doors, with body coloured door handles.

The interior includes new M-design seats with perforated Alcantara and leather.

This has surely got to be one of the most desirable large sports saloons in the world? I’d love to take one across Europe to check it out!

For more details go directly to Maserati’s site to check out the Maserati Quatrroporte Sport GT S

By Dave | February 14, 2009

These  short videos have been officially released by Porsche  to show off the new Porsche 997 GT3 which is based on the face lifted version of the 997.  Our Love-Driving blog is one of the very first places to publish these videos. The 997 GT3 looks absolutely amazing and sounds even better. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below.

The video above shows some official footage from Porsche of the new 997 GT3 driving through a coastal road - if this doesn’t make you want to get out and drive - nothing will!

There’s no sound to the next few videos as they are just showing off the 997 GT3 from different angles (they could have at least left the engine running!)

By Dave | February 2, 2009

Porsche have opened their new Driving Experience Centre at Silverstone - this video shows one of the Porsche Driving Consultants as he takes a lap at the facilities, including the low friction circuit, the ice hill, the kick plate, the handling circuit and the off-road course.

After you’ve watched this you’ll be wishing you had HIS job!

New Porsche 997 GT3

By Dave | February 1, 2009

Porsche 997 GT3

Porsche have released this video of the New Porsche 997 GT3 based on the facelifted 997.

Porsche’s longstanding amazing test driver Walter Rohl (ex World Rally Champion) is the driver testing the GT3 in this video…

If you enjoyed that then check out the Porsche Website to see more about the GT3 - they’ve got a clever site set up for the GT3 which allows you to download sounds, make your own images of the GT3 and more. Here’s an image I made up… By the way, Metallic Black is one of my favorite colours…
